As well as this they got the chance to spend more time meeting all of the team and hear their stories, they got some help with legals from Will and Simon from Taylor Wessing and of course eat some pizza.

Pembridge Partnership Ltd provides finance and advice to startup and early stage mobile, internet, creative and technology firms. We seek a communicator to promote the firm and raise its profile more widely throughout the VC, small business and consulting industry.

Job Overview

We seek a rounded communicator to represent Pembridge and the work of its clients and investee companies to the outside world. The job includes writing articles, blog posts, presentations and speeches and liaising with magazines, newspapers and event organisers to help promote the Pembridge story. A very large part of the job includes looking after our social media and web properties and Community Management.

Job Detail 

We would expect the majority of time in this role to be actively engaged with interested Parties on our blog, on Twitter and Facebook. We would expect you to be writing c. 100-word blog posts almost daily and longer articles or speeches at least once a week. The startup and entrepreneur community is very active after dark and we’d expect you to be attending at least two or three meetups/social events each week to represent the firm and meet clients, investors and investees and to be “the face” of Pembridge at such events. We also produce presentations and would expect you to oversee the production of these ensuring all our work is visually well produced, well-written and well presented. There is a strong PR element to the role in arranging media interviews and speaking opportunities for the Pembridge partners.

About You 

You will have very strong writing or journalism skills. You will be very savvy with social media and its use in business. You will be a great communicator, gregarious and expressive but very comfortable with managing busy tasklists and getting jobs done on time. We would expect to see a portfolio of previous written work

First Wave of B2Brand Mentors Signed Up

Collider12 today announces the first wave of Brand Mentors for its accelerator programme. They include Chris Whiteley from BBC Worldwide, Robin Chhabra from William Hill and Dan Cresta from CBS Outdoor. Collider12 is a Creative England initiative backed with investment from the Government’s Regional Growth Fund*.
